Whistleblowing constitutes an essential instrument of corporate compliance, enabling employees and third parties to confidentially and securely disclose unlawful conduct or irregularities encountered in the course of their professional or contractual activities. For the avoidance of doubt, whistleblowing encompasses the reporting of violations of laws or regulations, criminal offences, acts of corruption or fraud, as well as circumstances that may endanger public health and safety.
The designated digital platform ensures the protection of the whistleblower’s anonymity by allowing the transmission of encrypted information and refraining from recording identifying technical data, including the IP addresses from which the reports are transmitted.
The Company shall process any personal data relating to employees or third parties implicated in a report strictly in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), and for the purposes and by the means specified in the privacy policy available at: Privacy Policy – Whistleblowing.
