Alessandra Romeo received her degree in Technical and Commercial Translations in 1989 and began her activity in the intellectual property field in the same year. She has been counseling on intellectual property matters - particularly on trademarks - since 1991, her main areas of expertise being trademarks (registrability, filing and prosecution, oppositions, administrative and out-of-Court litigation proceedings) as well as domain name issues and ICANN proceedings.

Admitted to practice as Trademark Attorney before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office, the OHIM (Community Trademarks and Designs Office) as well as the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization), and a member of the Italian Industrial Property Consultants Institute and FICPI, Ms. Romeo is fluent in Italian, English, French and German.
