Giancarlo Notaro received his degree in Aeronautical
Engineering from the Turin Technical University in
1977. He began his career in the area of intellectual
property after a short experience in the heavy vehicle
industry and has been in private practice since 1977.
His experience includes periods of residence with
leading US firms specializing in intellectual property
law and covers litigation, prosecution and client
counseling. His main areas of expertise are mechanical,
automotive and aeronautical engineering, agricultural
machines, optics, microtechnologies, nuclear technology
and industrial plant automation. He also has a long
experience in the protection of industrial designs.
Admitted to practice before the Italian
Patent and Trademark Office, the European Patent Office
as well as the OHIM (Community Trademarks and Designs
Office) and a member of AIPPI and FICPI, Mr. Notaro
is fluent in Italian and English, with knowledge of
German, French, and Spanish. |
