Franco Buzzi received his degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Turin Technical University in 1975. He began his career in the area of intellectual property after working in the aircraft industry and has been active in private practice since 1977. In addition to drafting and prosecuting patent applications and client counseling, his experience includes an extensive litigation practice as a technical expert both for clients and the Courts. His main areas of expertise include mechanical, automotive, hydraulic and railway engineering, textile machinery, printing apparatus, medical appliances, plastics material engineering and laser technology.

Admitted to practice before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office, the European Patent Office as well as the OHIM (Community Trademarks and Designs Office), and a member of AIPPI, Mr. Buzzi is fluent in Italian, English, French, with knowledge of German and Spanish.
