Alessandra Romeo received her degree in Technical and Commercial Translations in 1989. She then devoted herself to the studies of IP and trademark laws and started her professional career on IP matters in 1991. Her expertise is focused on trademarks - register-ability advices, filing and prosecution, oppositions, other administrative and out-of-court contentious proceedings, coexistence agreements - as well as on domain name issues and ICANN proceedings.

Admitted to practice as Trademark Attorney before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office, EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) and WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization), Ms. Romeo is a member of INTA - International Trademark Association and of MARQUES - The European Association of Trade Mark Owners, where she holds the position of External Relations Officer since 2010.

She is fluent in English and French, with knowledge of German.
