Franco Gallarotti received his diploma in Business Administration from the School of Management of the Turin University in 1987. Following a two-year training period in intellectual property, he began his career in the patent department of one of Europe's leading manufacturers of household appliances. Since 1993 he has been active in private practice, his main areas of expertise being "white" household appliances and related components, coffee machines and capsules, robotics and automation, kitchen and bathroom taps and fittings, electronic cigarettes, boilers and heat exchangers, medical and testing equipment, as well as components for the automotive industry, specifically pressure sensors, level sensors, heating devices, actuators.

Admitted to practice before the European Patent Office, the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) as well as the Italian Patent and Trademark Office, registered for representation before the Unified Patent Court as a European Patent Litigator, Mr. Gallarotti is fluent in English, with knowledge of French.
